Occupation: Served in the Royal Navy and Royal Australian Navy
Joined Royal Navy on 22 Jan 1908, and was loaned to the Royal Australian Navy on 01 Jul 1913, initally for 3 years.
Completed a loan on 1/6/1928 and returned to UK. Classed as medically unfit to re-enter the RAN on 02/11/28. He was later granted 'Indulgence Passage to Australia 05/07/1929.

Moved to Australia where he is thought to have been accidentally electrocuted.
Had a son called Don who corresponded with Joseph Thomas Leech
